Are you as fed up as I am with celebrities who are good enough at one thing, but feel the desperate need to convince us they are even better at another? With the notable exception of those superstars who use their fame either quietly, forcefully, or both for good causes (Take a bow, George Clooney for following in the footsteps of the late and greatly generous Paul Newman), doesn’t the very mention of a rock star who wants to be a movie star – or vice versa – have the effect on you of nails on a chalkboard? Or is it just me?
